(1) The base of the web is modified so that the pocket extends up into the webbing of the mitt ultimately creating a huge area to catch the baseball. (2) Rawlings has adjusted the hand positioning within the mitt to move it away from the baseball's normal impact zone. (3) Due to the before-mentioned features, this mitt should be one of the more comfort-oriented mitts as it should prevent hand-stinging really well.

It will also have the Unique Web Design that will work hand-in-hand with the Extended Pocket Base.
