Welcome to the Camrose Crush!

As one of the nicest falls in recent history engulfs our region it feels so good to hear the whirl of the skate sharpeners fill the air in the store. It is such a positive sign that local players are on the ice! And the smiles, anticipation, and excitement in even the littlest of players is so contagious! That’s what keeps us coming back. We thank you and look forward to all the conversations about your practices, games, tournaments, and dressing room antics!

On another note, there was sadness in the air when we heard the rumors that the Daysland Northstars were in a state of flux and that there would be no team this year. Then along came a call from Colin Grindle. A new name (Camrose Crush), a new location (even closer to us), and work was started on creating a great experience for the players and fans. The list of players coming out read like our customer list. Then those players started walking through the door. This “Crush” thing was real. The Camrose Crush signed players, found a home in the Max Maclean arena and released their schedule!  See camrosecrush.ca for more info or check out their Facebook page.

Opening home game excitement for the Crush rang high and loud. The conversations the next morning started with the first customer and continued until game two. We have some senior hockey happening! You couldn’t keep our staff away and game two kept the excitement going.
